Plug-in solar retailers
Plug-in solar kits, from retailers whose kits are on the register.
These firms sell plug-in solar kits rather than fit equipment. A kit is only legal to plug in if it complies with the Plug-in Solar Device Interim Product Specification, and the specification names one proof of that: the kit's own entry on the ENA Type Test Register, confirmed as compliant. Every kit listed here has one, and each reference opens it.
Looking for someone to fit solar panels on your roof? The installer directory is the list you want. Before buying a plug-in kit, check where one can be mounted, and read what the regulations permit.
How a retailer gets on this list
Three checks, all read at the source. The company is active at Companies House. Its website is read page by page for injected links. And every kit it is listed for is on the ENA Type Test Register as compliant, read there by its reference rather than taken from the retailer's own description, because a seller saying its kits are "ENA registered" is not the same as the register confirming them.
The plug-in route covers Great Britain. Listing is free, and the order firms appear in is not for sale.
